Duties include pitching to donors and tracking donations, as well as applying for grants. The right volunteer will be able to dedicate about seven hours per week.
Seamstress or Knitter: Camp Stand By Me, which serves adults and children with disabilities, is looking for a volunteer to sew four large cushions to be used for a transport trailer. Volunteers are encouraged to be creative and assured that their creation will be well loved by all! The cushions are needed by June 15, 2017.

Spanish Translator: The New Braunfels Food Bank needs someone to translate their book, “Financial Wellness Curriculum,” from English to Spanish. As the book contains a lot of information, more than one volunteer can work on it.
Strategic Planner: Covenant House Texas, a faith-based shelter for homeless children, needs a volunteer with marketing experience to help them develop a strategic plan.
Office Assistant: Destiny’s Daughters of Promise is looking for a part-time office assistant to support the Director of Volunteers. Duties include monitoring volunteer inquiries, posting volunteer positions, and performing other tasks as needed. The right volunteer will be able to dedicate about two to three hours per week.
Computers and Technology
Graphic Designer: Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island is looking for a graphic designer to create posters and marketing materials for their events. SCCRI is focused on cultivating and nurturing a community of artistic talent, regardless of race, age, or socio-economic background. Hours and responsibilities are flexible.
WordPress Website Developer: Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center needs a volunteer who is familiar with WordPress to update their web site. REC helps small-business owners grow their businesses into vital, self-sustaining enterprises, and they need a user-friendly web site to provide quality resources to their clients. The entire job should take about 25-30 hours.
Faith-Based
Artist: WYTV7 Christian Broadcasters Inc. is looking for an artist or graphic designer to help them create spiritual messages for teens. Hours are flexible.
International
Photoshop Editor: The Macedonian Arts Council needs a volunteer experienced with Photoshop to help edit and prepare images for a documentary. The job needs to be completed before June 10th, 2017.
Women
Advocacy Coordinator: The Women’s Empowerment Series, Inc., needs volunteers to assist with the logistics of preparing for the next empowerment seminar. Duties include coordinating with speakers and venues, and engaging audiences through social media.
